COVID-19 is a pandemic of endless proportions. The whole world has ground to a halt as a result. Everything is up in the air, and we’re desperately trying to reduce (even stop) the spread of the virus. Disabled and chronically ill people, and frail elderly, are facing difficult times in terms of their care and support needs, and what they can do to ensure their needs are met during the lockdown and shielding phase and beyond, and what contingency plans they can develop to ensure their needs will be met in various circumstances.
I have produced this peer-to-peer resource around COVID-19, to help people with ongoing health needs and/or disabilities, and their families and carers, to know what to do in different circumstances, how to manage care needs, how to create a contingency plan, and how you can advance care plan around your wishes and preferences.
